Ultimate In-Home Learning Environment
I’m a Concord, NC dog trainer who only accepts three or four dogs at a time in my exclusive board and train program. Your dog won't stay in a kennel, facility or offsite building… they stay with me in my home and will be treated like my own dog (which is my family). Your dog will have plenty of opportunities to exercise, socialize, and perfect new skills in a real- life environment. I will provide your dog with structured training sessions but also plenty of relaxation, downtime, and so much LOVE. They will be happy and enjoying their stay with me (quite spoiled really haha).
Owners Education and Foundation
I could NOT guarantee this program for the life of the dog if I did not provide you with the knowledge to maintain and surpass your wildest expectations with your pup. I DO provide that guarantee and I only work with owners who understand and acknowledge that I will train their dog but you MUST be taught how to maintain the work that your dog has put in. I will provide everything you need and teach you how to be a Leader for your dog!

How is the program Elite?

Where will my dog stay during the board and train?
There is no separate building or offsite location where I punch the clock, train dogs, and then go back home. Your dog will stay in my home like family! For the duration of training, they will be in my home so they have round-the-clock monitoring, and one on one attention and love!
How long is Lost Boys Elite Board and Train?
This program is to protect your training investment! No need to go off for two or three weeks of training and then you're stuck with a partially trained dog who then has to keep going to classes. Give me four to six weeks to work my magic. This will allow me to let the new habits and behaviors stick for good.
What training methods will be used for the board and train?
In my Board and Train program, I primarily focus on positive reinforcement methods, which account for about 90-95% of our training approach. This means we reward desirable behaviors with praise, treats, and affection, making training an enjoyable experience for your dog. However, to ensure reliability and consistency in behavior, we also incorporate leash pressure and e-collar training. These tools are used thoughtfully and humanely to reinforce commands and ensure your dog responds appropriately in all situations, giving you peace of mind and a well-behaved & happy K9 companion.
Will my dog forget about me during their training?
Absolutely not! In fact, they’ll be super excited to come home and show you what they’ve learned.
Can your board and train program address specific behavior issues?
Yes, this board and train is custom-made to address a wide range of behavior issues such as excess barking, jumping, disobedience, leash pulling, and more. I will further tailor the program to target and correct specific behaviors based on you and the dog's needs and goals!
